Curiosity

I ran across this interesting article this summer and think it might provoke some original thinking.  Why Curious People Have Better Relationships by Jill Suttie is based on novel research. She notes that curious people seem to be better protected from negative social experiences like rejection. Curious people are more resilient and cope better. Research is not sure if you can be trained to be more curious but it can be piqued by deliberate actions. The author remarks ” …our greatest regrets don’t come from trying and failing but from not approaching at all.”

Celebration!

On April 11th the Pro Bono Program celebrated the recipients of the Pro Bono awards, welcomed our new Board members and congratulated our graduating members.  The courtyard was awash in blue and green balloons ( a few escaped) and smiling faces.
