The SC Appleseed Legal justice Center in partnership with area lawyers and the Bryan Veterans Hospital present a once a month legal clinic for veterans. Issues that are handled include family law, expungements, and wills. No veterans claims will be handled. Law students assist with the on site intake of the previously screened clients. HELP Clinic
H.E.L.P. Clinic-the Homeless Clinic, a project of the Richland County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee is conducted from 8:30-10 am on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at Transitions. My Will is a joint project presented by the SC Bar Pro Bono Program, the Central Midlands Office on Governments- Office on Aging and the Law School Pro Bono Program. The goal is to provide simple wills to low income senior citizens. Clients are prescreened and complete a questionnaire before arriving at their appointment.
