H.E.L.P. Clinic-the Homeless Clinic, a project of the Richland County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee is conducted from 8:30-10 am on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at Transitions. Law students will conduct intake interviews and assist attorneys with cases. Lawyers4Vets is a project of the SC Appleseed Legal Justice Center in collaboration with the VA. Volunteer lawyers come to the VA to consult with veterans on civil issues such as expungement, wills, custody and housing issues. NO VA Benefit issues can be handled. Law students can assist by conducting Intake with the attending veterans and providing any support needed to keep things moving along.
