Lawyers4Vets is a project of the SC Appleseed Legal Justice Center in collaboration with the VA. Volunteer lawyers come to the VA to consult with veterans on civil issues such as expungement, wills, custody and housing issues. NO VA Benefit issues can be handled. Law students can assist by conducting Intake with the attending veterans and providing any support needed to keep things moving along. My Will
My Will is a joint project presented by the SC Bar Pro Bono Program, the Central Midlands Office on Governments- Office on Aging and the Law School Pro Bono Program. The goal is to provide simple wills to low income senior citizens. Clients are prescreened and complete a questionnaire before arriving at their appointment.
